Annette H. Evans, a native of southern Indiana, has enjoyed drawing since childhood. Inspired by her artistic grandmother, she completed her first oil painting at the age of eleven. Soon after, her family moved to southern California, where frequent trips to museums, and later, study in fashion design, provided her with a strong foundation of composition and design. Today, Annette feels compelled to paint classic portraits in oil, and her body of work also includes landscapes and still lifes. A lifelong learner, Annette strives to continually improve her traditional yet painterly style of work.
